We spent a wonderful night at the Snooty Fox .Everything was perfect,evening meal was delicious. Spotless comfortable bedroom,hearty breakfast. Most important of all the attention from friendly staff was exemplary. Thanks Steve for a great stay.

We had a very nice couple of days at The Snooty Fox. The things that made it extra special were the lovely friendly staff and the excellent breakfast which was delicious with so much choice and cooked to perfection

Fantastic hotel, staff were so friendly and bubbly, a rare find! Breakfast amazing, thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to everyone.

Wrote to the manager separately relating to room 12- shame as I had no response! Very cold room, damp, note stating due to be refurbished, but cold snap in weather made it very cold including bed linen felt damp. Not all radiators working, old oil heater as additional heat but large room so still cold. Settee and chairs filthy - torn curtains- should not be sold for occupancy but we had virgin voucher, so did we get that room because of this?! Brekkie nice and staff nice too - let down by cold, damp room and got stinking colds after we left!

Can't recommend the Snooty Fox highly enough. We had a fantastic couple of days there, the room, staff and food are excellent. Great choice of food for breakfast all cooked freshly to your liking. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the food was amazing, the best ceasar salad I've ever had. The only down side for me was the lack of parking, saying that there is a car park just down the road that is pay and display, would be really helpful if the hotel could come to an agreement with the car park which would allow guests to park there for a daily fee. In closing would like to thank the staff for being so friendly and attentive, we will definitely be going back.

We had a snack/lunch on Saturday 8th, two Toasties served with a small container with fries,nice but ok. To add... the staff were lovely,work hard & megga efficient. We decided to go for breakfast on the Sunday morning, ordered two full 'Snooty Fox English' Breakfasts, we enjoyed it, lovely guy served us..same chap as yesterday! But..to be charged nearly ￡7.00 for 3 slices of toast ( cut in to halves) completely gob smacked! Way over priced! & the Bread wasn't anything special..no Granary. An extra of small Black Pudding was ￡3.00..crazy! I'm afraid we didn't pay an added tip on the final bill..it was 43.50 for x 2 average Breakfasts ?? would have been nearly ￡50.00 if we agreed to the tip. Gob smacked.

Every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and unfailingly polite — nothing was ever too much trouble. And the food… where do I even begin? Both breakfast and dinner were out of this world. It truly felt as though we were dining in a Michelin-star restaurant: beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

From the moment we walked in the door to when we left we were made to feel welcome and appreciated. The room we stayed in was of a good standard, our evening meal was excellent in both the quality of our food and the way we were looked after throughout the evening, breakfast was also very good so thoroughly recommend a visit.

We had been given a voucher for a 2 night stay here and had a great time. The whole hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere and all of the team work really hard to make sure that all their guests have a great time. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks and every single person working here was friendly and welcoming. We had a sandwich at lunch time and also an evening meal on our first night, both were perfect and good value too. The entire place was spotless and you can tell that the team work hard to keep it that way, even when really busy. Would definitely recommend to stay here and we will definitely return. Location was perfect also, with plenty of lovely shops, restaurants and bars on your door step. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Nos alojamos solo una noche porque íbamos de paso. Nos encantó el hotel. Muy bonito, acogedor y hogare?o. La atención recibida excelente, tanto a la llegada, como en el desayuno y a la salida que nos ayudaron e indicaron muy bien con varias dudas que teníamos . La habitación perfecta, con calentador de agua y café e infusiones de cortesía, muy limpio todo, cama muy cómoda. El desayuno estupendo, buenísimo y muy bien atendidos. Zona de aparcamiento de pago durante el dia a unos cien metros. Repetiríamos este hotel si volviéramos por la zona.
